I can't believe it , but it's true! I'm learning to play the guitar! Wow, this is so exciting. I started last Monday (the 6th), and now I'm composing my third song on it! I am so thrilled that I can play another instrument. This is really great. Thank You, Lord, for music!!
Anywho, yes, I'm finally blogging for real. Instead of posting a song. Which is also fine. But for some reason, whenever I try to write, the words just won't come unless I'm writing a song. It's so...wierd. I dunno. Lately the Lord has been givin' me songs about every other day. It's AWESOME. And strange. I've never been too good with words, unless they're in a song I'm writing. It's like, the poetry and rhyming picks out all the words that are swimming around in my head, and makes it way easier to know what to say. Yeah, I guess that's it. There are too many possibilities, I need a guide to help me choose what to say. I can't stand it when things are complicated. But I'm complicated. So everything I do, it seems, is complicated. I'm glad Jesus is my Guide :)

Time to Laugh
I'm filled with this unexplainable
LOVE you give, unretainable.
How am I supposed to ever pay You back?
I know I don't have to,
I know I can't ever.
You alone make me want to be worthy.
You know my innermost secrets.
And I'm perfectly comfortable with it.
And I never want to let go.
But still,
The ways of the world are graven on my shoulder
The weight of a people laden with their sins
When all that reigns in my life is this silence,
That fills the crevices, makin' me rethink my wins.
But still, I can't take anymore
Of this silence,
Intensifies the violence
That's ringing in my ears.
You alone know how to make me
Laugh at my mistakes,
You peel away the years.
You wipe away my tears.
You fill me with unexplicable
Love,You give unrestrictable
Mercy, perfectly, given me,
Of Your own free will.
And You alone,
And You alone,
And You alone,
know how to make me laugh aloud.
LOVE you give, unretainable.
How am I supposed to ever pay You back?
I know I don't have to,
I know I can't ever.
You alone make me want to be worthy.
You know my innermost secrets.
And I'm perfectly comfortable with it.
And I never want to let go.
But still,

Call to redemption
Don't be ashamed,
Don't be a bashful lover.
Don't be afraid,
Don 't be driven from the truth.
I stand here one hand raised,
One hand clenched to the past.
I want to let go,
But I can't say no the world,
So I worship half-mast.
Castaway, Castaway, that's what they called me,
But You're here to stay, here to stay, I heard You call me!
So let me castaway, castaway this old cliche,
And let me rise a new creation!
Don't be a bashful lover.
Don't be afraid,
Don 't be driven from the truth.
I stand here one hand raised,
One hand clenched to the past.
I want to let go,
But I can't say no the world,
So I worship half-mast.
Castaway, Castaway, that's what they called me,
But You're here to stay, here to stay, I heard You call me!
So let me castaway, castaway this old cliche,
And let me rise a new creation!

Learnin' to Live
There's pain if I live,
Pain if I don't,
So I'll go where You want me,
I can't say I won't.
If I don't help ease this suffering,
Lift the load, bear the burden,
Where'm I gonna go? What'm I gonna do?
That's how I'm learning...
I'm learning to live.
You can't know how I feel
Unless you've been there before
Come to that place where you know that
You ain't goin' back.
Sometimes, I just wanna go home,
So tired of standin' here wantin' more,
But I know You've got me
Right where You want me,
So I'll take a breath, take a step forward.
Cause I'm learning,
Cause I'm learning,
Cause I'm learning,
I'm learning to live.
I know along the way
Things are gonna get tough,
But with You with me
It won't be too much.
Yeah, I might fall down,
Just lift me up,
Give me that strength beyond compare,
So they can never say "You weren't there."
There's pain if I live,
Pain if I don't,
So I'll go where You want me,
I can't way I won't.
Cause I'm learning to LIVE...
Pain if I don't,
So I'll go where You want me,
I can't say I won't.
If I don't help ease this suffering,
Lift the load, bear the burden,
